She nodded respectfully and padded closer to Dayfang.Its alright.Breath evenly and ill be right back.She ran off t get what she needed.
She had wandered over to her old med cat den.the one from Darkclan.She padded in and felt happy.She ran over to where she kept her borage leaves and poppy seeds.They were still there!She grabbed them carefully and darted off.She came back to dayfang and dropped the leaves and seeds by her.Eat the laves first.Once you've finished them,eat the seeds okay dear?Hang in there. She said soothingly to hr.She wished she was young like Dayfang.Leopardsnow was growing old and achy.Her voice was becoming hoarse and she began to look old and frail.

Inkheart didn't take his cold stare of Leopardsnow. He grew more tense and irritable each second that ticked by. "Listen to your sister." he said flatly to Dayfang. "It's whats best." He shifted uneasily as he watched the ex-medicine cat go leave and come back. He chanced a glance at Nightclaw wondering how she felt. Pain stricken, tired, and hungry the tom padded over lightly to sit behind his mate. He pressed his nose against her cheek softly. "Don't worry, my dear. It'll be over soon....."
...And even though will fight and argue, I'll have your back and you'll have mine... Will stand together, brave and pround...Will weep in silence without a sound... Through the ages many part, but we'll keep together me and you... even though death is due...

Dayfang nodded weakly then bent her down to eat the leaves Leopardsnow had given her. She hesitated at first, but after she gave then a good look and smell that their scent was fresh she numbly chewed the bitter herbs. Now what? She rasped. Wanting to know everything the Medicine cat did before she layed a paw on her.
Stormkit looked at her brothers, then to her mother. Why couldn't they go see their new cousins? She stood up quietly and stalked a few paces to the Nursery entance. The stench of blood was strong and panic swept through the young kits body making her tremble. Shaking her worry away with the flick of her dark gray tail she peered into the dim nursery. Inkheart, her mother, and Leopardsnow crowded around Dayfang, who was on her side. Three small bundles were curled up asleep. But one kit was smaller then the rest. She wonder why, then dashed back to her nest. Nightclaw had looked her way and Stormkit needed to make sure she wasn't going to get in trouble.

Ravensong ran into the nursury. Dayfang sat in her nest, her kits around her. But she was leaking blood. "Oh no! What's wrong, Dayfang?! Tell me immediatly!"

Nightclaw was about to go after her kit when Ravensong walked in. We don't know. Leopardsnow gave her some herbs and its helped but there is still a small flow. She swallowed her panic so he could understand what she was saying.
Dayfang smiled weakly, Im fine. Her voice was horse and she was being to slip into unconciousness. I love you Inkheart. She rasped, and reached up slowly to lick his cheek.

Inkheart didn't smile back. His fear had overcome him by now and all he could do was stand there pitifully. Tragedy after tragedy seemed to be happening. First with him losing his mind, then Dayfang could've died along with her kit, and now he seemed to be breaking apart. Plunging into a darkness that no one could save him from. He struggled to keep his eyes open, not daring to tear them away. "Just go to sleep, Dayfang." he repeated weakly," Sleep...."
