Shallowkit purred, blue eyes round bright with excitement and enthusiasm. "Got ya!" The petite she cat squealed, voice shrill with eagerness.

The tiny she cat sprung forward, clumsy paws thumping onto the dusty earth, pinning a pale ringed tail beneath her little paws. Shallowkit's chest pressed forward, spine straightening in pride.

"Was that goo-?" Blue orbs that had flickered up to her father, quickly fell to the ground again as the tail whipped away from under her paws. With a high and pitiful growl, the she cat sprung once again.

Foxshadow purred in amusement, liquid amber eyes shining as he watched his kit pounce from one spot to the other in a constant attempt to cage his tail like a bird in a cage.

The deputy blinked tenderly at the she cat, his careful gaze wondering to the nursery where his mate and kits were residing. "Alright now, go run along. Maybe one of your siblings will play with you, hm? I have to get some patrols organized." Foxshadow purred softly, rising to his paws.

The large tom watched the kit rise to her paws once again and bound toward the nursery. With a delighted smile, Foxshadow turned back to the clearing. Maybe hunting's in order. He thought casually, padding toward the warriors den. "Anyone up for hunting?" The large tom asked, liquid yellow gaze peering into the dim lit den.

Foxshadow nodded approvingly, back up at the warriors began to rise. "Great, Mossclaw, feel free to grab something to eat, like Flamepelt, before we head out. I'll see if we can get some others along." The large orange tabby meowed to his warrior, as Flamepelt dug into a robin.

Shallowkit watched her father go, blue orbs still bright with enthusiasm. Her ears perked as she listened to her father's voice at the mouth of the warriors den, shortly after, two warriors padded out after him.

Ears perking with interest, the pale she cat dropped to her stomach, inching forward. Her long tail stuck straight in the air as she stalked toward Flamepelt. Finally, when she was close enough, the she cat pounced.

Little paws landing with a slight thud, and a little billow of dust, Shallowkit blinked, hoping to find her target between her paws, Flamepelt's tail.
